Poiché tutta Europea ha applicato una qualche forma di quarantena, le conseguenze per i settori EFFAT sono state profonde, anche se diseguali. Il settore che ha sofferto di più è, di gran lunga, quello del Turismo, dove sono a rischio milioni di posti di lavoro, e le prospettive di recupero sono incerte. #tourism #effat #covid19

With all of Europe having implemented at least some form of lockdown, the consequences for the EFFAT sectors have been profound, if unequal. Worst hit, by far, is Tourism, with millions of jobs at risk, and uncertain prospects for recovery. Travel restrictions and the enforced closure of businesses deemed non-essential have brought almost all tourism-related activity to a grinding halt.

The events promised catastrophic consequences for the the tourism sector. Almost all the 1050 hotels have also closed the doors in lack of guests and tens of thousands of sectoral employees have returned from their Austrian, German, British restaurants-hotels, that have also closed down.

Il Coronavirus ha prodotto conseguenze catastrofiche nel settore del turismo. Quasi tutti 1 1050 alberghi sono chiusi in mancanza di ospiti. Decine di migliaia di lavoratori del turismo sono tornati dagli altri paesi europei più duramente colpiti dal Covid-19.
