L’emergenza Covid-19 ha imposto un adattamento dell’organizzazione del lavoro e delle misure per la tutela della salute nei luoghi di lavoro. È, infatti, il momento di riflettere sul rapporto tra le esigenze dettate dall’emergenza sanitaria e l’impianto normativo normalmente posto a tutela della salute e sicurezza dei lavoratori (ed anche della loro privacy) e sul ruolo del sindacato.

I have read with due attention the contribution by Volker Telljohann and the related comment by Mr. Giorgio Verrecchia. As a Workers’ Representative and member of the European Works Council of the FCA Group (at least as long as such a Council existed, since the agreement has expired without being renewed) I would like to share some observations.
As of 2018, #Fca reports an employment level of approximately 198 thousand employees worldwide, recording a significant slowdown compared to 2017 due to the sale of Magneti Marelli. A short distance away, #Renault follows it with about 183 thousand employees at a global level.
Press agencies #Bloomberg and #Reuters seem to confirm the rumors released by #FinancialTimes about the creation of an international player in the automotive industry after the merger of FCA NV and Renault.
